The aspects of things that are most important for us are hidden because of their simplicity and familiarity.

My work considers the place of ceramics in daily life, the often invisible role of ceramics in the rituals of the everyday, and the potential of objects as repositories and/or provokers of memory.  Ceramics have been in the background of everyone’s daily lives for thousands of years.  My work is exhibited occasionally and briefly, existing perhaps as a reminder that every day we can do more than function.
